Persevering in Faith

We attended a church social last week. Along one side of the church is an area that is intended for reflection and prayer. As I sat there sharing cake and ice cream with Jack, I noticed a stone slate with the following passage:

"Don't worry abut anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4: 6-7

God always finds a way to send me a message when I really need one. This is a beautiful passage to reflect on as we wait for a match. It is a reminder of the need for faith and trust in God's perfect timing.
