Do you love my hare? This is me, posing as the Easter Bunny for a city promotion. We shot video yesterday and I'm shooting some today with my niece, Meaghan. Wearing the stinky styrofoam head reminds me of the all-in-one job I once had in the Promotion Department at an NBC station. I just happened to be the "perfect size" so I wore the peacock more times than I'd like to admit at local events. That was the various duties as assigned part of my position. I don't miss boiling in those mascot costumes. Those helmet heads are definitely not for the claustrophobic. Good thing I don't have that phobia but it still gets hot.
The only thing that makes sweating in those outfits worthwhile are the hugs you receive from little kids. They are so cute. On the other hand, I was punched once by some kids whose parents were standing idly by. Nice.

The last time that I wore a bunny outfit (it was actually peter rabbit), I almost passed out!
